Grand Opening
All new businesses are welcome to OPEN whenever they are willing and ready....however, we'd like to "Launch" a Grand Opening date.
Get Ready
This special date would be widely publicized and promoted by the Project. It also gives each store owner time to do renovations and stock their stores for the big day.
Store committments
We'd like to have store commitments from a minimum of 10 stores, before we set the date (18 months, max., out from commitment).
It's a biG deal
This will be a big, celebrated event that launches the Re(STORE)ing of Louisiana, MO. Perhaps a time to pull out all the stops: Invite political leaders, TV news stations, famous Missourians, etc.
Share the big news
Each store would promote the Launch date on their own websites, as well as the city website and other social media outlets.
Ready, Set, Go
The weekend of the big event, we would encourage all businesses to have door prizes or special offers. It's our hope the city would also add it's own special touch to celebrate the Re(STORE)ing of Louisiana, MO.
