It's amazing the various groups that are up and running in our community. Maybe you didn't know about them. They are always looking for citizens to be a part of what they're doing for our town. Perhaps you'd like to get involved too.

A project being discussed is helping our neighbors, Block by Block. Much like the City Clean-up days but on a larger scale. Volunteers would take a city block at a time - reach out to home owners and see how we can help; trash pick-up, large item removal, paint, repairs, etc. Helping our neighbor, helping our town.

Aren't those new sidewalks wonderful! It really dressed up our beautiful Georgia St. Great to see while driving by and a blessing to walk on. Let's Finish This - there are several areas of the curb strips that need some work. Many areas have been left rocky, and now...weeds. A date is being discussed for volunteers to help get this do

Let's Finish This - there are several areas of the curb strips that need some work. Many areas have been left rocky, and now...weeds. A date is being discussed for volunteers to help get this done - remove rocks/trash and cut weeds. Later in Fall, we'll come back to plant grass seed where needed. Finished!
